Description
This CNC machined TSP head insert fits KTM 300 SX & XC models and Husky 300 TX-i models with the new 300 TBI (Throttle body injection) engine, and fits into the stock cylinder head outer part. It is designed to work with the OEM base gasket design and gives a big boost to power throughout the rev range.
You will receive one (1) cylinder head insert for your make/model, and a cylinder head o-ring and washer kit so you can bolt it straight on!
Our key TSP insert features are:

- Improved combustion chamber design that gives more performance from bottom to top

Our options are as follows:
- MEDIUM COMP – this insert suits the majority of trail riders and racers who want better bottom and mid power and a small gain up top as well. The power delivery is much stronger and more tractable than stock and suits a wide range of riding conditions. Suited to 91 octane fuel.
- HIGH COMP – this insert suits riders who want harder hitting power everywhere, especially down low. It completely transforms the TBI into a weapon. This insert at 4000 ft elevation will replicate a medium compression at sea level. This insert may push the limits of normal 91 octane pump fuel at sea level under severe conditions, but can be used in normal trail riding conditions safely in order to achieve maximum bottom/mid performance. If you are using this insert at sea level for MX, deep sand riding or in very cold weather we would suggest running the softer/richer White map and/or some slightly higher octane fuel. Not suitable for extreme enduro due to the harder hitting power delivery and potentially increased tendency to overheat in very tight, technical slow riding near sea level.
Our head/inserts work very well when used together with an ECU reflash completing the package, and it is highly recommended doing an ECU tune at the same time to get the best results.
All TSP mods are designed and dyno tested in-house at TSP so you can be sure you’re getting reliable performance for local conditions.

Didn’t test the head by itself but combine with the remapped ecu it works very good. I got the medium compression head because I will be riding from sea level to 9000 ft elevation. Don’t want to worry about detonation.
