The TBI ERM Power Kit for  2023+ KTM/Husky 300cc TBI (throttle body injection) includes a TSP ERM device, billet TSP head (cap and insert), a head O-ring & washer kit, and an NGK spark plug. TSP Power Kits offer the best performance gains for all late model fuel injected two strokes.

NOTE: With the purchase of an ERM, you DO NOT need to ship us your ECU. Once you receive the ERM, you will use the ERM to download the correct maps for your bike, and you will flash your own ECU using the ERM.

This TSP TBI ERM Power Kit fits all KTM 300 SX & XC, Husky 300 TX, and Gas Gas 300 EX models with the new 300 TBI (Throttle body injection) engine.

Please note that the new 2024 XC-W/TE Enduro models require a different head and ECU tune. See the Power Kit for those models here.

This package includes:

  • A handheld touchscreen ERM device which comes with a free downloadable TSP ECU Tune to suit your bike & relevant TSP modifications. For a full breakdown of this product, check out the TSP ERM website.
  • A Billet TSP Head (Cap and Insert)
  • Head O-ring & Washer Kit
  • A new NGK BPR8EIX spark plug, better suited to the improved power the engine makes with this kit

This package makes a huge difference to the 300TBI over stock, with some key features being:

  • Drastically improved throttle response in the whole RPM range
  • Both Green & White maps are tuned and the stock map switch works like normal to select between the customized maps.
  • ERM enables you the ability to make swift pre-set tune changes depending on conditions
  • Smoother throttle response
  • Much better part throttle power
  • Better fueling – some areas are crisper than stock for better throttle response, and some areas are richer for improved reliability.
  • Much more enjoyable to ride

For the first time since the release of the first fuel injected bikes back in 2018 we are offering 3 different ECU tunes to suit the 300 SX/XC models. This is because these bikes are being used in a wide range of conditions from high level MX through to Hard Enduro. The demands from riders on these engine is very broad and what is best suited to MX is not at all suitable to hard enduro. The 3 ECU tune choices that you can download on your ERM are:

  • HARD ENDURO (HE) – The Green Map is the more aggressive of the 2 maps with White being softer.  Both maps give better part throttle power than stock but its delivered in a more usable manner. The green map revs out better for faster open sections or hill climbs, while the white maps is softer for very technical riding.
  • TRAIL (TR) – The Green map is more aggressive and is taken from the MX Tune. The White Map is softer and richer and is taken from the HE tune. This is a very versatile tune which gives the rider a broad range of performance through both the green and white maps. This is ideally suited to trail riding or cross country racing where the rider occasionally wants a softer map for more technical terrain.
  • MOTOCROSS (MX) – The MX Map basically has 2 aggressive maps… the Green map is the proper tuned map which get maximum performance, while the white map is a slightly softer/safer map with a bit more fuel and a bit less ignition advance and is ideally suited to higher compression heads or deep sand riding where the normal Green tune may be a a bit too crisp.

As usual we offer a range of cylinder head options for this Power Kit. are as follows:

  • MEDIUM COMP – this head suits the majority of trail riders and hard enduro racers who want better bottom and mid power and a small gain up top as well. The power delivery is much stronger and more tractable than stock but still super smooth and suits a wide range of riding conditions. To be used with 91 or higher octane fuel.
  • HIGH COMP – this head suits riders who want harder hitting power everywhere, especially down low. It completely transforms the TBI into a trail weapon. This head pushes the limits of normal 91 octane pump fuel at sea level under severe conditions, but can be used in normal trail riding conditions safely in order to achieve maximum bottom/mid performance. Do not use this this head at sea level for MX, deep sand riding or sustained high rpm riding unless you are using high octane fuel. Its not ideal for Hard Enduro due to the aggressive low end delivery and the higher tendency to increase heat in the engine. This head can be used at elevations above 4000′ to approximately replicate a medium compression head at sea level. Above 4000′ it is safe for pump fuel in almost any riding situation.

All TSP mods are designed and dyno tested in-house at TSP so you can be sure you’re getting reliable performance for local conditions.

    This kit makes the bike feel stronger but still super linear, tractable and smooth. It’s hard to describe how you can have more torque but still be this smooth. Stalling the bike was always hard but now it feels near impossible. But that’s not even the best part. The customer service from TSP and SBM is incredible. I had some issues with the initial setup with the ERM and Steve and the guys from TSP really came through to make sure I got everything working properly. If you’re on the fence, rest assured that you’re buying a product from people that really care about their customer and will be there if you ever need them. Thanks SBM and TSP!

    First of all I would like to thank Steve from South Bay Moto and the team at TSP for an outstanding customer support. When I initially was tuning my bike I had some hiccups along the way and the team was there to help get it resolved. They went above and beyond to help sort everything out, with great and fast communication.

    After some good testing using this kit I can confidently say the bike runs much better. It is more crisp and has more low end grunt without losing traction. The difference in power and responsiveness is very noticeable with both the head and tune installed. I also noticed it is more difficult to stall the bike, the only way to stall this thing is to lock the brake. Funny enough I had not put a new/clean filter after installing this kit, and yesterday and did and woah! This bike runs outstanding! With the performance gains and customer support this is an absolute recommendation!

    Just purchased this kit for my 24 XC 300. Went with the High Comp Head and the Trail Tune. All I can say is WOW. I didn’t think my bike could get any better but boy was I wrong! Complete night and day difference. Cleaned up the bottom and mid range very nicely and the power throughout is just so smooth and the low end torque in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear is insane! This kit will unleash that beast that is inside the 300!! This kit is 100% worth the money. The performance gain with this kit will blow your mind. I also noticed that I used less fuel. Customer service is A+ as well with fast shipping. Had a quick question and I called them up and Steve was able to answer my questions without issue. I could go on and on about how good this kit is but my recommendation is to get and try it yourself. You wont be disappointed!! Thank you TSP and South Bay Moto you have made and absolute killer kit!
