Returns and Claims for online store product orders…

If you receive an incorrect or faulty product you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the item via phone or email. You will need to give us the order details, the product details and possibly send a photo of the product for verification. We will then arrange for the correct item to be forwarded or for faulty items to be replaced.

We DO NOT take any returns for parts that you order incorrectly, so please double check that you are ordering the right product for your bike/engine before completing the checkout procedure. If you are unsure about what parts to order please contact us.

We DO NOT take any responsibility for any damage or loss of any kind that results from the installation or operation of parts purchased over our website. It is your responsibility to ensure that any parts ordered are the correct dimension for your engine (eg. pistons) and that parts are installed by a qualified mechanic.

Returns and Claims for modification work where you send us individual parts only…

We will cover faulty workmanship on modified parts prior to the parts being installed only. If you receive your modified parts and they are faulty or incorrect please notify us within 48 hours via phone or email. In this case we will repair, correct or replace the parts at our own discretion.

We DO NOT cover faulty workmanship or issues of any kind on modified parts once the parts have been used or installed.

We DO NOT cover engine failure, running issues of any kind, injury, loss, damage to property or death that occur once the parts are installed on your bike. It is your responsibility to ensure that parts are installed correctly, jetting it tuned correctly, oil and fuel are correct for the application, the rest of the engine is in good condition, the engine is not misused in any way, the operator is of appropriate skill level to operate the vehicle and protective gear is worn at all times. Due to the nature of high performance engines it is vital that the operator and the person working on the engine have a thorough knowledge of tuning to keep the engine performing at its intended level.

Returns and Claims for engine builds that do not include dyno tuning…

We will cover faulty workmanship for a period of 14 days from the dispatch date.

Any concerns over workmanship or faulty engine operation must be brought to our attention within 14 days of the dispatch date. We will not be held responsible in any way for any issues or damage resulting beyond 14 days from the dispatch date.

In the event of faulty engine operation or serious engine failure the engine must be returned to us intact and must not be stripped down by anyone else. If the engine has been stripped by anyone else we reserve the right to void any responsibility for any damage caused. Upon receiving the engine we will strip/assess the engine and give an honest and in-depth report on what caused the failure. Our decision on the cause will be final. If there is evidence that the failure is caused by faulty workmanship or incorrect installation of parts we will cover the cost to rectify the issue, including parts and labour. If there is evidence to suggest the failure/issue is caused by a pre-existing fault, normal engine wear, incorrect jetting, incorrect fuel, incorrect oil ratio, poor air filter maintenance, incorrect spark plug, lack of coolant or damage due to overheating we will not be held responsible in any way for any damage caused and the cost to rectify the issue will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

Returns and Claims for faulty workmanship

We will cover faulty workmanship for a period of 14 days from the dispatch date. We will cover poor running due to incorrect jetting for a period of 28 days from the dispatch date.

In the event of faulty engine operation (not related to jetting) or serious engine failure we must be notified within 14 days of the dispatch date. The engine must be returned to us intact and must not be stripped down by anyone else. If the engine has been stripped by anyone else we reserve the right to void any responsibility for any damage caused. Upon receiving the engine we will strip/assess the engine and give an honest and in-depth report on what caused the failure. Our decision on the cause will be final. If there is evidence that the failure is caused by faulty workmanship or incorrect installation of parts we will cover the cost to rectify the issue, including parts and labor. If there is evidence to suggest the failure/issue is caused by a pre-existing fault, normal engine wear, incorrect fuel, incorrect oil ratio, poor air filter maintenance, incorrect spark plug, lack of coolant or damage due to overheating we will not be held responsible in any way for any damage caused and the cost to rectify the issue will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

A note about ‘lack of coolant’ and damage due to overheating

We define a ‘lack of coolant’ to be a situation where the coolant level drops to any level at which the engine begins to overhead significantly, resulting in damage to the engine due to excessive heat. We will not cover any damage caused to an engine where it is deemed that there was a ‘lack of coolant’, even if the original cause of the coolant leak is deemed to be faulty workmanship.  Damage due to a lack of coolant or overheating is very obvious to the trained eye. Under normal operation an engine will ALWAYS begin to show obvious signs of overheating long before a severe engine failure if there is a coolant leak or overheating. It is the rider’s responsibility to be in tune with their high performance engine and make the decision to stop the engine at the first sign of unusual operation, unusual noises, lack of power, hanging idle, excess smoke or steam. If the rider chooses to continue to operate the engine or is not skilled enough to recognize the signs of overheating, unusual noises, lack of power, hanging idle, excess smoke, steam or any other unusual running then we will not be held responsible for any damage done to the engine, even if the initial fault is deemed to be caused by faulty workmanship. In this case it will be deemed that the rider’s actions resulted in a catastrophic escalation of the issue and it will be the owners responsibility to cover any costs to rectify the issue.
