Crank Case Pressure Sensor – TBI Models – with Exclusive SBMP Oversized O-Ring
It’s a well know issue that the crank case pressure sensors tend to fail on all KTM, Husky, and GasGas TBI fuel injected two stroke motorcycles, causing the motor to run overly rich, especially down low, and eventually causing sputtering and bogging. We have even seen some bad sensors on brand new bikes with zero hours.
If you own a TBI bike, you should have one of these sensors as a spare in your tool box. We also recommend replacing the CCP sensor with every new top end rebuild between 80 – 100 hours of run time. This sensor is a genuine OEM part but comes with a SBMP exclusive oversized o-ring for a better seal. The additional oversized o-ring will be supplied loose in the CCP sensor packaging and will need to be installed by the customer. See videofor easy install instructions.
