Any crash impacting the left side could potentially cause a rock, tree or branch to impact the stock plastic fuel tank fitting and break the barb that is connected to your fuel line. The SBMP Aluminum Fuel Tank Fitting will put you at ease and keep you riding and racing worry free. The fitting is CNC machined from billet aluminum, anodized black, and comes with an OEM Oetiker hose clamp. This is cheap insurance to keep you on the trails or running up front during a race.
