It’s a well know issue that the crankcase pressure sensor tends to fail on all KTM, Husky, and Gas Gas TPI fuel injected two stroke motorcycles, causing the motor to run overly rich, especially down low, and eventually causing sputtering and bogging. We have even seen some bad sensors on brand new bikes with zero hours. If you own a TPI bike, you should have one of these sensors as a spare in your tool box. We also recommend replacing the CCP sensor with every new top end rebuild, between 80 – 100 hours of run time. This sensor is a genuine OEM part.
