TSP Offset Flywheel Key for KTM, Husky  & GasGas 85cc Models

Looking for more torque without the cost of an aftermarket CDI? The TSP Offset Flywheel Key is an easy, low-cost timing advance mod that delivers real performance gains—especially in the low to mid range.

This key is designed for KTM, Husky and Gas Gas 85cc carbureted 2-strokes, and works best when paired with our TSP Billet Head. By advancing the ignition timing, it mimics the power curve of a high-performance CDI without the expense or complexity.

This upgrade is ideal for enduro riders who want stronger bottom and mid power without sacrificing trail reliability. It also provides a boost in upper RPMs, but note: you will lose some over-rev, so it’s not recommended for riders who spend most of their time in the high rev range or racing scenarios.

Warning: Do not use this flywheel key with aftermarket ignitions. Doing so may cause severe engine damage.

Installation instructions/guide:

Remove the flywheel (you will need the flywheel puller tool), remove stock flywheel key, rotate crankshaft so key-way is facing up, install new key with cutaway to the right (facing the rear wheel). Install flywheel and rotate anti-clockwise until seated against the key. Gently tap with a hammer to seat on the taper, tighten nut to required spec. Do NOT use with aftermarket ignitions!
