Description

TrueTech True Clips

True Clips are designed and built specifically for use on dirt bikes. No more thin gauge wire and micro-sized alligator clips that can’t grab onto an M6 bolt. True Clips are excellent for electrical diagnosis in the shop and on the trail. Easily and safely supply power or ground to components through the supplied fuse block, charge up dead batteries on the trail and on the bench. Plug them directly into your multimeter when you want a reliable reading.

True Clips use heavy duty alligator clips that are crimped, soldered and double shrinked. They’re the toughest clips on the market. The use of common banana plugs means they integrate with the other tools in your box. True Clips are a valuable part of any dirt bike mechanic’s kit.

Recommended applications:

  • Running power to individual components
  • Reading sensor values like the TPS on your TPI/TBI
  • Charging dead batteries on the trail (boosting not recommended)
  • Supplying a reliable ground while testing circuits
  • Completing temporary test circuits

NOTE: Although it is possible to boost your bike with True Clips it is not recommended. They’ll get hot and will eventually get damaged and may burn fingers. If you have a dead battery on the trail it is recommended to use True Clips to charge the dead battery for several minutes before trying to restart the bike.
